Cancer survivors should be stronger both mentally and physically than what they were before  disease entered their lives. The retreat is for the cancer survivors who are in remmision, their family and friends to rejuvenate their mind, body and spirit.     Arrive in Kathamndu
    Arrive in Kathamndu (1350m / 4430ft): Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be greeted by Happy Feet representative or your guide and transferred to your hotel. Then, you will be briefed about your program and enjoy a 90 minutes massage at the hotel. Later, head to a local restaurant for a Welcome Dinner.

    Sightseeing in Kathmandu
    Guided sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu: The rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal is synthesized in Kathmandu Valley, representing elegant architecture,
    refined culture, colorful bazaars and simple hospitable people.Visit Patan Durbar Square in Patan - the first city of Nepal. The ancient name of Patan is Lalitpur, meaning city of beauty. The city is believed to be the first settlement in the Valley and famous for its amazing collection of fantastically carved temples and palace courtyards. Patan is
    also famous for metal crafts. Here you can also visit the healing bowl place to watch the
    demonstration. Lastly, visit Boudhanath, possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa and a site of great veneration and Tibetan culture. Visit Tibetan monastery and painting school.

    Fly to Pokhara / transfer to TMPL
    Fly to Pokhara (850m / 2790ft): A short and scenic flight will take you to the beautiful town Pokhara. Then a scenic 40 minutes’ drive will take you to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Located on a ridge 1,000 feet above the Pokhara Valley with a spectacular Himalayan backdrop, Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge provides a perfect haven, the essence of tranquility.It is an eco-friendly lodge ideal for those wishing to retreat in a rural mountain setting, enjoy
    escorted day hikes through the forests and villages, bird-watching or just to relax in a typical Nepalese rural setting. With a central lodge, bar and dining room, the comfortable rooms are arranged in clusters of cottages resembling a Nepali village. All have attached bathrooms, private verandas and Himalayan views.     Drive to Lumbini
    Drive to Lumbini (150m / 490ft): After an early breakfast, a scenic drive of about 4 hours will take you to Tansen - a beautiful hill town of Nepal. The place is famous for its cultural heritage and traditions. After lunch and brief walk at Tansen, then drive downhill to the flat land called Tarai, which is the breadbasket of Nepal. It is about 2 hours’ drive to Lumbini (the birth place of Buddha) from Tansen.

    In Lumbini
    Surrounded by lush gardens, ponds, light forests, wetlands and rivers lies the Sacred Garden of Lumbini. Located in the Nepalese Terai and bordering India, Lumbini is a place with a significant past and splendid future. Spend a full day exploring the Ashoka Pillar and Mayadevi Temple (the exact place where the Buddha was born), monastic zones with temples belongs to different countries of the world, World Peace Pagoda and Crane Sanctaury in the sacred Lumbini garden.

    Drive to Chitwan National Park
    Drive to Chitwan National Park (100m / 330ft): Take a beautiful drive on flat and fertile land of southern Nepal passing through highway towns. It is about a 3 ½ hours drive to Chitwan National Park. You will stay two nights at Chitwan village at the border of Chitwan National Park. These two days Chitwan package provides different jungle activities such as jungle safari, boat ride, jungle walk, bird watching, tribal dance program, visiting tribal Tharu village etc. The activities will be in groups.
    Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last populations of one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and home of the Bengal tiger.

    Note: During monsoon and post monsoon (mid-June / July to mid Oct) Jeep safaris are not permitted to conduct by park authority due to slippery and muddy roads. Usually the monsoon ends from mid-September and Jeep Safari opens from the beginning of October, but depends upon the road condition. Alternate activities are provided during this period.

    Fly to Kathmandu
    Fly to Kathmandu: A short and scenic flight will bring you to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Domestic Airport in Kathmandu, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a 90 minutes massage for relaxation before returning home.
