I've travelled to many countries in the world, but without a shadow of a doubt, Nepal is the one country that has left its mark on me forever. From the moment you step off the plane, you will realise that you are in a country like no other. I am not what you would call a super fit person, but I opted for the Everest base camp trek. It is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. Do not be put off attempting any of these journeys, just because you can't run a marathon. A couple of unforgettable weeks later, I found myself sitting on the summit of Kalapathar looking down onto Everest base camp and up to the summit of Everest. I could hardly take in the beauty and the remoteness of where I was. The staff and all the Nepali people I met on my journey could not have been more helpful and genuine. They left me feeling very humble. If you are in any doubt, I can't emphasise enough how Nepal is an absolute must on your travel itinerary. You won't be disappointed.

We had a fantastic Golden Triangle & Tigers tour in India with Towards The Himalayas. From the first enquiry to even during the trip they are incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and no question is too much trouble. Our group consisted of 7 people and everyone described this holiday as a trip of a lifetime! We had incredible tour guide Ganesh. Our driver Kamal and his assistant were awesome, always watching out for us, driving incredibly safely in the chaotic India traffic in a super clean and luxurious vehicle yet making sure we reached each destination in a timely manner so we could explore everything to its fullest. We did three safaris over two days, and each one was amazing. On our first day we were very lucky and saw three beautiful tigers, on the second day we didn't see tigers but we did see a sloth bear and a bunch of other wildlife. Our guide and drive went above and beyond on every safari to give us the best sightings, and were always friendly and informative. We will return to India and we will not hesitate to book with this company again!
