Considered as one of the best walks in the world, the Annapurna Circuit trek provides the experience of majestic mountains, picturesque valleys and villages, isolated  communities and ancestral traditions of the local people that immerse you in the spectacular mountain adventure. The trek follows the Marsyangdi Valley to the north of the main Himalayan range and crosses a 5416m pass to descend into the dramatic desert-like, Tibetan-style scenery of the upper Kali Gandaki Valley. Following a careful acclimatization program, we will head northwest over the Thorung Pass (5,416m / 17770ft) and descend down to the sacred shrine of Muktinath and ancient trading town of Jomsom.

Qualification: It does not require any previous trekking experience, but should be able to hike for about 5 to 6 hours a day over hilly terrain with a light day pack. Your duffle bag will be carried by porters. ‘Slow and steady’ is the key to achieving the goal and enjoying the trek.

Acclimatization: Over the years we have come up with the best itinerary to aid in the acclimatization process having 2 nights in Pisang and Manang instead of the usual 2 nights only in Manang. The one extra night makes a big difference in the process of acclimatization and provides the best chance of making a safe and enjoyable journey over Throng Pass.

Accommodation & food: On the trek you'll experience local food and culture and sleep in traditional, warm and friendly mountain lodges run by families. The
accommodations at the mountain are basic, but our carefully selected lodges are clean, comfortable and provide better services. At a few higher places, bathrooms are shared, but in adequate numbers, so usually do not have to wait. Similarly you may not get a single room at two places. The food is fresh and nice.

Insurance:  We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance which provides coverage for trip interruption, medical and emergency assistance etc.

Visa:  Tourist entry visa can be obtained at Kathmandu airport upon arrival. The visa fee is US $ 50 for a 30 days multiple-entry tourist visa.

Guide:  One of the main reasons for recommending us by our clientele is - our guides. They are highly experienced and know how to take you to your destination with  utmost comfort and safety.
